The Details
We’re excited to announce the upcoming Salty Sailor Retreat in Moab, Utah in 2024! Join us for a three-day Photography Retreat from May 14th, 2024 (starting at 1:00pm) to May 17th, 2024 (ending at 10:00am). This Retreat is perfect for photographers who love nature and adventure. We will be exploring and hiking Moab’s canyons and arches while capturing beautiful photos of couples and families.
During this Retreat, you’ll receive comprehensive photography education covering various aspects of photography. We’ll guide you through the entire process, starting from helping your clients choose the right wardrobe, to capturing shots on location, finding optimal positions based on lighting conditions, adjusting camera settings, directing and posing subjects, importing images, and utilizing the Salty Preset Pack for editing. This Photography Retreat is designed to be all-inclusive and beneficial for photographers of all experience levels.
Our goal is to provide you with a positive and fun experience. From mastering composition to experimenting with shooting different techniques, we’ll cover it all. We’re fully committed to making this Retreat an unforgettable journey, where you’ll immerse yourself in epic adventures and expand your photography skills. Are you ready to adventure with us?

- Breakfast and dinner is included (wine too)
- May be sharing a queen bed with another female attendee.
- Flight and transportation to Airbnb are not included. Closest airport is Grand Junction Regional Airport (2 hours), and Salt Lake City International Airport (4 hours)

- Deposit is $800 to reserve your spot and is due 24 hours after you’re chosen to attend
- Total cost is $2800 and this is non refundable – The remaining $2,000 will be divided overtime, with your final payment is due no later than March 1st, 2024

Located just a short 10-minute drive from the awe-inspiring Arches National Park and the banks of the Colorado River, this central location allows us to easily explore the best that Moab has to offer. Whether we’re hiking through iconic rock formations, capturing breathtaking moments with our cameras, or simply enjoying each other’s company around the fire, this place is destined to be the backdrop for unforgettable memories.
