
Installation Help
COMPATIBILITY
LR classic 7.3 or later | LR creative cloud 7.3 or later | ACR 7 or later | LR mobile for Android & IOS *LR mobile IOS- Adobe PS LR CC desktop application with the Creative Cloud Subscription is required to sync Salty Sailor Presets to your mobile device.
LIGHTROOM CLASSIC PRESETS
- Step 1: On the presets panel, click on the + Icon
- Step 2: Click on import presets
- Step 3: Find where the presets have downloaded to, and highlight all the presets
- Step 4: Click import
LIGHTROOM CLASSIC BRUSHES
- Step 1: Locate where the Lightroom brushes downloaded to (.lrtemplate files)
- Step 2: Select all of the brushes, right click and copy them all
- Step 3: On the top of Lightroom, click on the Lightroom Classic button
- Step 4: Click on preferences
- Step 5: Click on the presets tab
- Step 6: Click on “Show all other Lightroom Presets”
- Step 7: Open the Lightroom folder
- Step 8: Open the local adjustments presets folder
- Step 9: Right click in the folder and click paste
- Step 10: Close all windows and restart Lightroom
LIGHTROOM CREATIVE CLOUD PRESETS
- Step 1: Open Lightroom Creative Cloud
- Step 2: Click file and click import profiles and presets
- Step 3: Locate where you downloaded the presets
- Step 4: Select all the Salty Sailor Presets and click import
- Step 5: Restart Lightroom Creative Cloud
LIGHTROOM MOBILE ANDROID
- Step 1: Download .xmp files onto phone
- Step 2: Open an image in LR Mobile
- Step 3: Click the preset icon on the bottom of the scroll bar
- Step 4: Import the presets
IOS (APPLE)
- Step 1: Download Adobe PS | LR CC Desktop App on your computer and sign in
- Step 2: Click file then click import profiles and presets
- Step 3: Navigate to the folder where you saved your presets
- Step 4: Select all .xmp files and import
(At this point, make sure you are logged in with the same Adobe ID to both Lightroom desktop and mobile app version so Lightroom can sync the imported presets to the cloud across your devices) - Step 5: Open Lightroom on your mobile device and select a photo to edit
- Step 6: Click the preset icon on the bottom of the scroll bar
- Step 7: Select user presets and the preset pack will be there.
COMPATIBILITY
- Adobe Camera Raw(ACR) Version 7 or later (presets and brushes)
HOW TO INSTALL (ACR) MAC / IOS PRESETS
- Step 1: Unzip the presets
- Step 2: Open Adobe Camera Raw through Photoshop
- Step 3: Open the preset panel in the toolbar
- Step 4: Click the 3 small dots (the more presets option button)
- Step 5: Click import profiles & presets
- Step 6: Go to the location of the downloaded presets- select all and click import
- Step 7: Restart Adobe Camera Raw & Photoshop
HOW TO INSTALL (ACR) MAC / IOS BRUSHES
- Step 1: Unzip the brushes
- Step 2: Go to the finder and choose Go, Click go to folder
- Step 3: In the go to folder box and type ~/library
- Step 4: Click application support folder, and click on the Adobe folder
- Step 5: Click on the Camera Raw folder & click on the location corrections folder
- Step 6: Select all the ACR brushes that you downloaded (.xmp files) and paste them into the local corrections folder
- Step 7: Restart Adobe Camera Raw and Photoshop.
WINDOWS / MICROSOFT PRESETS
- Step 1: Unzip the presets
- Step 2: Go to the following path on your computer- C:\Users\[user name]\Appdata\Roaming\Adoberaw\Cameraraw\Settings
- Step 3: Leave the window open and go to the location where you downloaded the preset
- Step 4: Paste (Ctrl+V) and select presets into the path from Step 2 Step 6: Restart Adobe Camera Raw & Photoshop
WINDOWS / MICROSOFT BRUSHES
- Step 1: Unzip the brushes
- Step 2: Go to the following path on your computer- C:\Users\[user name] \Appdata\Roaming\Adoberaw\Cameraraw\Localcorrections
- Step 3: Leave that window open and go to the location where you downloaded the brushes
- Step 4: Copy all the brushes using Ctrl+C
- Step 5: Paste (Ctrl+V) the selected brushes into the path from Step 2 (Local corrections folder)
- Step 6: Restart Adobe Camera Raw & Photoshop
*ACR Presets and Brushes are installed the exact same way. The presets are dragged into the settings folder and the brushes are dragged into the local corrections folder.
