WEPA! The Salty Sailor Retreat is heading to Puerto Rico, where vibrant culture, breathtaking landscapes, and rich history come together in perfect harmony!
We’ll wander the lush trails of El Yunque, the only rainforest in the U.S., chase hidden waterfalls, and bask in golden island sunsets. Then we’ll step back in time at El Morro and the iconic Spanish forts of Old San Juan, capturing their colorful charm and centuries-old stories through our lenses.
For photographers, Puerto Rico is a dream: palm-lined beaches, cascading waterfalls, dramatic cliffs, and historic cobblestone streets all in one place. You’ll have the chance to photograph couples and families against both natural wonders and cultural treasures, an inspiring mix you won’t find anywhere else.

We’re so excited to announce the Salty Sailor Presets Retreat on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico—taking place May 4th–7th, 2026!
This three-day photography retreat is designed for photographers who love nature, adventure, beaches, and culture. Together, we’ll explore the vibrant spirit of Puerto Rico, from golden coastlines to colorful streets, while capturing stunning imagery through hands-on sessions with couples and families.
Throughout the retreat, you’ll receive expert guidance at every step, from wardrobe styling and posing to mastering natural light, dialing in your camera settings, and editing with our exclusive Salty Sailor Presets. Whether you’re just starting your photography journey or looking to refine your craft, this experience will inspire and challenge you to grow.
Expect a fun, supportive atmosphere where we balance skill-building with unforgettable adventures. By the end, you’ll walk away with new techniques, fresh inspiration, and breathtaking portfolio images all while experiencing Puerto Rico’s incredible beauty.
Retreat Details:
- Location: Puerto Rico
- Dates: May 4th–7th, 2026
- Check-in: May 4th at 1:00pm (address shared after booking)
- Check-out: May 7th by 1:00pm
- Included: Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and wine
- Accommodations: Shared queen bed with another female attendee
- Travel: Flights and transportation to Airbnb not included (Airport: Luis Muñoz Marín International – SJU)
Pricing:
- Total Cost: $2,800 (non-refundable)
- Deposit: $800 due within 24 hours to secure your spot
- Remaining Balance: $2,000 due in installments, final payment by March 1, 2026
Important: If you can’t attend, you are responsible for selling your spot.

The itinerary
(Tentative – subject to change)
May 04 – The retreat begins at 1 PM in Ocean Park, Puerto Rico with a welcome lunch at Casa Oceania. In the evening, we’ll enjoy a photo session (family, couples, or maternity) followed by dinner.
May 05 – We’ll start the morning with either a light hike or a relaxing visit to a local beach. After lunch at Casa Oceania, Victoria will lead her teaching session on running a successful business, booking clients, and editing. The day will wrap up with a sunset photo session.
May 06 – The day begins with a group outing before returning to Casa Oceania for lunch. Michelle will then share her expertise on business operations, client booking, editing, and more. In the evening, we’ll capture updated headshots of each other.
May 07 – After breakfast and a final group outing, we’ll continue teaching and tie up any loose ends before packing up and departing Casa Oceania by 1 PM, officially closing the retreat.

Welcome to Casa Oceania our tropical escape just steps from the famous Ocean Park Beach in vibrant San Juan, Puerto Rico! This home is designed for both relaxation and fun, offering stylish interiors, breezy outdoor terraces, 5 spacious bedrooms, and 3 modern bathrooms, all just a quick 3-minute stroll from the sand.
We will be waking up to the sound of ocean waves, sipping our morning coffee under swaying palm trees, and spend our days exploring one of the most sought after neighborhoods on the island. Casa Oceania puts us right in the heart of it all surrounded by golden beaches, trendy beachside restaurants, lively bars, and unforgettable nightlife.
