We’re excited to announce the Salty Sailor Presets Retreat in Joshua Tree, California, taking place in 2025! Join us for an unforgettable three-day Photography Retreat from May 5th to May 8th, 2025.
This retreat is designed for photographers who are passionate about nature and adventure. We’ll immerse ourselves in the stunning Joshua Tree landscape while offering hands-on photography sessions with couples and families.
Throughout the retreat, you’ll receive expert guidance on all aspects of photography. From helping your clients choose the perfect wardrobe to mastering on-location shots, adjusting lighting, perfecting your camera settings, posing your subjects, and editing with our exclusive Salty Sailor Presets—this experience is designed to elevate your skills at every step. Whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience, this retreat will inspire and empower you to take your photography to the next level.
Expect a fun, supportive, and dynamic environment where we dive deep into the craft of photography—from mastering composition to exploring creative shooting techniques. Our goal is to make this retreat an unforgettable experience, blending breathtaking adventures with invaluable skill-building.
Details:
- Check-in: May 5th, 2025, at 1:00pm (address provided upon booking)
- Check-out: May 8th, 2025, by 10:00am
- Included: Breakfast, dinner, and wine
- Accommodations: You may share a queen bed with another female attendee.
- Transportation: Flight and transportation to Airbnb are not included. The closest airports are:
- Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) – 40 minutes
- Ontario International Airport (ONT) – 1.5 hours
- San Diego International Airport (SAN) – 3 hours
- Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) – 3.5 hours
Pricing:
- Deposit: $800 (due within 24 hours of receiving your invitation to secure your spot)
- Total Cost: $2,800 (non-refundable)
- The remaining balance of $2,000 is due in installments, with the final payment due by March 15th, 2025.

Welcome to Casa Amarilla, our epic Joshua Tree Airbnb and the ultimate desert retreat, just outside Joshua Tree National Park. This stylish home features a spacious backyard designed for pure relaxation. Dine under twinkling lights, soak in the hot tub, or kick back by the fire pit. The backyard also boasts a cowboy pool (YEEHAW!), hammocks, BBQ, horseshoes, and plenty of lounging areas. Inside, the game room with TV and ping pong adds extra fun. Whether we’re stargazing, grilling, or just unwinding, Casa Amarilla is the perfect spot for our Salty Sailor Retreat, and we can’t wait to get there!
